At Barrington we care for infants in such
a warm and affectionate way that
lets each child know he is special. Our staff utilizes most of their time
in cuddling and talking to
babies that is so important at this stage of development.

Safe environment ***
At Barrington we know
how quickly a baby develops in the first year of life and we offer a
setting where each child is loved in a clean, safe environment that
promotes ultimate growth. We adhere to strict sanitation procedures.
Special
Care *** Infants are cared for in a small group so that there is a one to one interaction between the child and care-giver. Infant Program
fosters the needs of newborns up to 12 months. At this early stage of
development, the infant is beginning to make discoveries about his home,
caregivers, and other environments. We promote the connection between
home and child care environment in a loving manner.
Exploration
*** We provide opportunities for exploring, learning
and social interaction through a good variety of daily activities which
stimulate all of their senses - sight sound,
touch, smell and taste. There are a lot of activities that we provide
for the use of small and large motor skills. Our use of Pinnacle curriculum
combined with Creative curriculum gives our children the benefit of an
all rounder approach to development.
Buggy
Ride
***
Our little ones go
on a buggy ride every day, where all of them go on to explore the outdoors.
This is a special buggy, which can seat six infants all together so all
can have fun at the same time.
Parent
Involvement *** We are very supportive of
parents and encourage involvement along with open and honest
communication. Our infant caregivers are proactive in making sure parents
are informed about the activities of their babies through Daily Reports.
